It is a great loop that instantly made me want to throw down some cardboard. Some old school sound and some straight outer space sounds.
Love it. I am gonna put the loops together and make it 4:30 minutes long with a fade out for the end and sport this in my rocket.

Have you used sequencing programs before? something?
Holy shit this is pretty fucking awesome. My first song with fruity loops sounded like my 101yr old grandma trying to get mad but wheezing instead of yelling.

This really got me waiting for something to happen or for me to make something happen, I was wondering if I should stand up and walk around. I then realized I was far too lazy, and once I realized that, it stopped. :D whew.
Introduce some cowbells and you have a hit.
The first 30 seconds were my favorite, I was hoping you would bring some of those sounds back into it.
Good stuff. What were your intentions for this? I don't hear any Steve Reich influence in this. You didn't say there was, but you kinda threw that name out there for something.
